With regret, there is no credit or allowance for unused or undesired parts of our wedding packages.
In accordance with Virginia law, no one under 21 years of age may taste, sip or drink alcohol even with parental/guardian permission.
Planning on throwing rice at the newlyweds?
Please, instead throw bird seed…. It’s much more environmentally friendly and please, throw it outside. Thanks!
We do not cook with, serve or provide artificial sweeteners.
All wedding activities including arrivals, any decorating or set up shall be begin and end during the reserved time. With regret, no early arrivals or late departures.
Need more time? No problem!
If you would like additional time either before or after the package times stated, we are happy to offer extended time by prior reservation for an additional fee. Please make your requests, if any, when making your original reservations. Extra hours - $250 per hour by prior reservation and payment, only.
A non refundable deposit of $1500 is required to make a reservation. With regret, no reservations are made without a deposit. Requesting a date without a deposit does not reserve the date.
The balance is due 4 weeks before your wedding.
Payment in full is required when reserving for wedding scheduled 4 weeks in advance or less.
The number count of people includes the bride and groom, family, the wedding party, children, guests and witnesses.
A Cheesecake Farms representative will be on site during the day of your wedding to coordinate wedding frame work with the venue. The Cheesecake Farms representative is not a wedding planner and will not decorate, set tables, participate or provide specific details for the wedding ceremony and reception.
If you so desire and as a courtesy, Cheesecake Farms will accept pre-paid early deliveries on your behalf the day of the wedding. Cheesecake Farms or its assigns will not be responsible for what was delivered or its condition and will not make any payments for deliveries. Deliveries requiring payment will be refused. Deliveries appearing damaged will still be accepted. Although we recognize that delivery times are sometimes out of your control, we strongly advise that you arrange deliveries for a time when you or a responsible person you’ve designated has arrived to accept your deliveries.
All caterers must present to us their current license and proof of insurance. Sorry, no do it yourself catering.
Cheesecake Farms will also not become party to any problems or disputes between the wedding party or its assigns and other vendors such as, but not limited to, wedding cake provider, florist, caterer, photographer, celebrant, musicians. Please designate your wedding planner or other person to handle situations should they arise.
Rest rooms in the Mane House and Barn are not wheel chair accessible. Please advise if guests require wheel chair accommodations. Arrangements can be made for their comfort.
Cancellations
4 weeks before the wedding – Full refund less the $1500 deposit.
Less than 4 weeks before the event – No refund.
In the unlikely event that Cheesecake Farms or its assigns has to cancel your event for whatever reason, you will receive a complete refund for the venue only (including your deposit) which will be the full extent our liability.
