Whether you're a beginning cook or a seasoned pro, you're going to love are cooking get-aways because Karla makes cooking so easy!!!!

Check-in Friday evening.

Cooking Made Easy Sample Weekend

Here's a taste of what you can expect.
The schedule may change depending on the topic for the weekend.
 

Friday
6 -7  PM    Check in 

7 - 9 PM    Farm House Supper
                 Enjoy our country cooking and local vintage wines served family style 
                 Meet the other guests and share in the festivities 
                 Afterwards, let the fresh country air lull you to sleep.
 

Saturday

Wake up at your leisure 
Enjoy coffee and a light breakfast


9AM         Let's start cooking!
Step into Karla's kitchen as she waltzes you through the makings of fabulous fare that's oh, so easy. 
Her divinely different take on food and cooking will open your eyes (and hearts) to everything culinary!
What ever weekend you choose, you can be sure it will be jam-packed with tips, tricks and temptation! 


1PM          Lunch time!!
You've worked up an
appetite - now it's time to sit down and relax with a yummy, seasonal lunch!


2 - 7PM      On Your Own

Unwind and relax - Play board games, nap, take a stroll

Or a self-guided adventure!

Tour the sleepy little village of Sumerduck (visit Smith's Antiques for great oak furniture and collectibles, taste wine at Rogers Ford Winery).
 
Learn about gold mining in Fauquier County (yes, right here!) at the gold mining village and museum in (you guessed it) Goldvein.

See a vintage air show at the Flying Circus - just up the road.
 
Visit The Graffiti House at Brandy Station - a recently discovered Civil War era hospital used by both the North and the South.  


7 - 9PM    Dinner is served
We'll treat you to our famous, new country cooking that we serve family style so you can sample everything!
There's something yummy for every taste (and caloric need!!!) including plenty of vegetarian selections.  
 

9PM - After dinner work shop activity.



10PM - Prepare for a hearty night's sleep!

Singles, couples and groups welcome! 

Got a group of 6 or more?
We can mix and match the dates and topics to suit your needs.

If space is available, day students (class only) may be permitted after all the B&B package spaces have been filled.

Day student class fees are $69 per class per person except for Thanksgiving.
Classes are approximately 3 hours.

The Thanksgiving class (and dinner) is $89 per person.

Up to the minute taste treats to transform your kitchen into light, luscious, healthy fare without a speck of meat.
You'll be amazed at the yummy dishes you can whip up and best of all, you'll never miss the meat!

October 19-21    "Fall Harvest Fest" - Cooking Without Recipes 
Gather the best from the garden or the farmers' market and create fabulous dishes - without using a recipe.
Understand your ingredients.  Feel their energy.  Experience the beauty of their shapes, textures and colors.
Drink in their fragrance.   Focus will be on fall foods.  Apples and pumpkins and squash - oh my!

Cooking class and old fashioned Thanksgiving dinner featuring vegetarian "turkey" with all the trimmings.

We never seem to get enough of hors d'oeuvres! 
Tiny little taste treats to tantalize the taste buds and caress the palate.
We'll be creating (& nibbling) a whole batch of new, simple to make recipes.
Your gourmet pals will think you spend the whole day in the kitchen -  or hired an expensive caterer!!!
